Historical Event on 7/11/1957
Aga Sultan Sir Muhammad (1877-1957), Aga Khan III, spritual leader of Ismaeli Muhammedans, passed away. He worked for Britian in the WW I & II. Aga Khan was extremly rich, he once had himself weighed against a sack of diamonds belonging to him. He was also one among those who formed the Muslim League.

6/20/1972	Paras Laxmikant Mhambrey, great Indian cricket pace bowler (Test v England 1996), was born in Bombay.
3/30/1665	Murarbaji died at Purandar fort during a battle with Dilerkhan.
5/4/1783	Tipu Sultan was enthroned as the ruler of Mysore after the death of Haider Ali in a simple ceremony at Bednur. He continued the Second Mysore War against the English. He defeated many EnglishGenerals like Brithwhite & Col. Bailey. Tipu Sultan signed the treaty at Mangalore on 11th March 1784 A.D. which was known as the Mangalore treaty.
11/25/1997	Election Commission de-recognises Janata Party and Congress (Tiwari) as national parties and de-recognises Pattali Makkal Katchi in Tamil Nadu, J & K Panthers Party and J & K People's Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Congress (Socialist) in Kerala and Manipur and Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in Tamil Nadu. Pattali Makkal Katchi will continue to be recognised as State party in Pondicherry.
12/8/1985	The first summit was held at Dhaka. (7 0r 8).
6/22/1982	19 persons were killed and 25 injured when an Air India Boeing 707 from Singapore via Madras crashed at Bombay.
